What We Did: Branding / Print / Trade Show
Industry: Nonprofit
From Vision to Venue
The Global Summit hosted by 50/50 Women on Boards is more than a conference—it is a platform for leadership, equity, and systemic change.
For the 2025 Global Summit, the organization needed a nonprofit event design system that could elevate the attendee experience while clearly
communicating the authority and momentum of its mission.
Because the summit brings together hundreds of executives, board members, and sponsors in New York City, every visual element needed to work harder.
Not only did the design need to be polished and professional, but it also had to remain inclusive, accessible, and cohesive across dozens of touchpoints.
As a result, consistency, clarity, and flexibility were essential.
The Challenge
Designing for a large-scale nonprofit conference presents unique challenges. On one hand, the visuals must convey credibility and leadership.
On the other hand, they must remain welcoming, legible, and mission-forward.
For the Global Summit, this meant aligning sponsor signage, wayfinding, and presentations under one visual language.
In addition, all materials needed to perform equally well across digital screens and physical environments.
Because production timelines were tight, the system also had to scale quickly without sacrificing quality or clarity.
The Solution — A Cohesive Nonprofit Conference Design System
To address these challenges, we began by developing multiple distinct visual concept directions. After refinement, we landed on a vibrant, modern system
that balanced authority with optimism—an ideal fit for a forward-thinking nonprofit leadership event.
From there, we applied the system across every element of the summit experience. Because consistency builds trust, each asset was designed to feel connected,
intentional, and unmistakably part of the same story.
Design System Foundations
- Crisp, legible typography for fast comprehension
- Clear hierarchy to guide attendees effortlessly
- Flexible layouts that translated seamlessly between print and presentation formats
At the center of the experience was a fully branded 37-slide keynote presentation, designed for main-stage delivery. The deck featured strong structure,
subtle animation, and visual clarity, allowing speakers to focus on their message while the design reinforced it.
Meanwhile, environmental signage—including welcome signage, breakout session boards, and sponsor displays—ensured that attendees always knew where to go
and what to expect.
The Result
Ultimately, the nonprofit event design system transformed the Global Summit into a polished, cohesive experience from start to finish.
Because the visuals were consistent and intentional, the mission remained front and center. Sponsor visibility was clear without feeling overwhelming,
presentations felt confident without distraction, and the event spaces photographed beautifully.
More importantly, the system created a reusable foundation. The 2025 Global Summit now serves as a visual benchmark for future conferences and leadership events.
