Designing a Print Advertising Campaign
Products used by many non-related industries need special attention in advertising. Above all, it’s important to speak directly to the needs of each market. When Honda Power Equipment wanted to refresh the print ad campaign for their line of generators we were happy to take on the challenge. To start, we identified the demographics we would target, including construction companies, tailgaters, parter planners, and more. Secondly, we took a look at the current advertising and editorial trends in the publications we would be featured in. Ultimately, understanding the trends of those publications paved the way for developing the print ad concepts and planning execution. To be honest, our favorite photoshoot went down at our Los Angeles photo studio where we set up the tailgating scene for the first generator print ad. It’s always a pleasure to work with talent who are ready and eager to jump right in.
