CHALLENGE
Honda Power Equipment needed outdoor equipment marketing materials that could reach a wide range of audiences—construction professionals, homeowners, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The challenge was to showcase the power, reliability, and versatility of their generators and snowblowers in a way that felt both relatable and aspirational.
SOLUTION
We developed a multi-channel strategy, starting with print ads tailored to key demographics such as construction crews, tailgaters, and event planners. We researched editorial styles of relevant publications and created campaign assets that blended seamlessly within those formats. To go beyond traditional print, we introduced video—bringing Honda’s power tools branding to life through dynamic, real-world visuals.
The Honda Generator video featured the product in use during a home power outage, emphasizing its reliability as a backup energy source. We also captured its portability and practicality in outdoor work settings, reinforcing its value across both leisure and professional use.
For the Honda SnowBlower video, we filmed on rugged, snow-covered terrain to highlight performance and ease of use. With models demonstrating its functionality, the footage underscored how effortlessly it clears even the toughest winter conditions.
RESULT
The final campaign combined bold print ads and high-energy video content to successfully communicate the strength and adaptability of Honda’s outdoor equipment. Our on-location shoot in Los Angeles, featuring a tailgating scene, added an authentic lifestyle element to the generator’s appeal. The creative direction and production quality left a lasting impression, engaging both new and loyal customers while reinforcing Honda’s reputation for powerful, dependable products.
